Branch Office Hanumanagar ( RBB) which was closed earlier due to security reason, has been reinstated .The reinstated 133 rd branch was inaugurated by Mr Seetaram Kabar- an industrialist, amidst a ceremony organized here.The program -attended by Chief guest guests Mr.Shreeram Kabara VP of FNCCI -eastern region,Mr.Muktinath Jha -former D.E., Dept of Irrigation ,was chaired by Mr. Surendra Kumar Bajimaya -the regional Chief at RBB Biratnagar. The guest speakers thanked RBB for its reinstatement . Hundreds of local businessmen/women ,entrepreneurs and people in general were present on the occasion. Mr Manoj Kumar Barma ,the manager at RBB branch office Rajbiraj delivered welcome speech.

On the occasion of Teej - a festival of Hindu Women , Rastriya Banijya Bank ,under it's promotional program ,has offered gifts to its women customers who have opened Mahalaxmi Bachat Khata -at RBB.Various branches of the Bank have been distributing the gift organizing program. This scheme has highly enthused the Nepali women to deal with the Bank.

Ms Shiva Devi Kafle ,the newly appointed CEO at RBB took over the office on 12 Aug 2011 amidst a brief ceremony organized at the central office of the Bank. Mr. Ram Prasad Adhikari the Chairman of RBB Board Of Directors, Mr. Krishna Prasad Sharma, Mr Jyotichandra Ojha the DGM duos, the Departmental Chiefs as well as Company Secretary of RBB were present on the occasion.

On the same day newly appointed CEO Ms. Shiva Devi Kafle expressed her commitment of doing her best for the betterment of the Bank without any discrimination to the employees of the Bank while delivering her first speech as a CEO in the concluding ceremony of a manager level training program organized at the meeting hall of the Training and Development Department based in Thapathali.

RBB bade a hearty farewell to Janardan Acharya - the outgoing CEO of RBB amidst a grand program. In the program louding the role played by Mr.Acharya during his tenure Ram Prasad Adhikary the Chairman and Managing Director of RBB said ' The Bank will remember Mr Acharya as an efficient Manager for ever.' Mr Adhikary also gave away the token of love to Acharya on behalf of Bank.In the program Mr.Acharya the outgoing CEO thanked all stakeholders for their contribution and the God for His grace to make the RBB reform project a success.

Mr. Acharya entered RBB as a HR Manager in January 2003 under contractual management headed by Bruce F.Henderson, an American national .Mr Acharya served in RBB for about 8 years with different capacities, he led the Bank as a CEO for about last 4 years. The Bank made turnaround in different aspects during his tenure.

Coinciding the anniversary RBB announced the names of best performing branch offices and excellent employees. Branch Office Maharajgunj which has topped in Kathmandu region has also been announced as excellent branch out of the whole branches. Similarly Branch office Damak, Nijgadh and Sindhuli, Baglung and Butwal,Surkhet were declared as excellent ones in Biratnagar, Birgunja, Pokhara and Nepalgunj region respectively. 17 employees working at various offices of the Bank were also announced as excellent ones.

Rastriya Banijya Bank observed its 46th anniversary by organizing various events . In the main program, organized at the central office premises. Finance Minister Surendra Pande was the chief guest and NRB Governor Yubaraj Khatiwada was the special guest in the program. In the program various speakers including Finance Minister Surendra Pande, NRB Governor Yubaraj Khatiwada Acharya and employees representatives delivered best wishes speech . In the program chaired by Ram Prasad Adhikari ,the chairman of the Board of directors RBB CEO Janrdan Acharya delivered welcome address.The program was anchored by Bheshraj Panthi,the chief of the Branch Operation Department.
